In a clever twist on traditional pop-up shop marketing, Nasoya Tofu has hit streets around the country with “S. Bean and Co.”, a pop-up butcher designed to look like a traditional butcher shop. But there’s a catch. Every cut, slice, and patty inside the shop is 100% plant-based. The “meat” on display is really just tofu prepared in different ways. As a part of the campaign, Nasoya is serving up delicious dishes around the country that look and taste like the real thing, only to film their customers’ reactions when they learn their “steak“ came from soybeans, not livestock.
